On Migration

The days before we take that long flight across the Atlantic are numbered and our anticipation as we say good bye to our close friends and family is evident. Concern is always a key component to travel and anyone who cares will give you the best advice they can. But there’s been lots of talk lately and the world can seem like a dark place sometimes. This is especially true of Central America and Mexico, immigration has caused lots of tension in these areas even though people have been moving in and out of these areas for centuries.

We tend to create distance between ourselves and the word immigration because it seems like it’s a world away but in reality, who doesn’t love to travel? And in the greater scheme of things, we sometimes don’t realize how lucky we are when we’re off enjoying what we feel we deserve. Szidonia and I have been particularly lucky in the past couple of months to find amazing jobs that could provide us with good incomes, friends who support us for all we are and of course our great families. We’ve lived good lives to say the least and now we’re off to seek more in life and give back to the world while trying to make a difference and help people think consciously when they travel and about others who travel too.
